You can't blame them, it is a catchy tune...

Song Identifcation Filter: I heard a song on KCRW within the past few days that lifted the melody (just the note sequence, it wasn't sampled) from Kraftwerk's "Computer Love". It had a male vocalist and the last words he sang were "Let's talk". Searching playlists on KCRW has been fruitless, but I remember hearing the Dresden Doll's "Coin Operated Boy" shortly before or after this track.

Best answer: Googling [kraftwerk "computer love" sample] brought me to this page, suggesting that what you're looking for is "Talk" by Coldplay. Eh?

Response by poster: Oh man, I've actually seen that page before, but I assumed because it wasn't a sample it wouldn't be there... it would make sense.

I'm dowlo... err, buying a copy at my local music retail place now.

I hope you're right!

There's also the inevitable mashup.

Here is the playlist from that day. They played the Dresden Dolls song at 11:45.

I think what you're hearing is the Junkie XL remix of Coldplay's "Talk"

They've been playing this a lot, I never get sick of it

Has that Junkie XL remix been released anywhere yet? Did radio stations get a CD of it?

KCRW gets a lot of advance stuff.
