What painting is referenced in this Simpsons screen grab?

Can you tell me what painting the Simpsons are referencing in this screen grab?

The painting is located in a doctor's office in an episode entitled The Mansion Family.

It might be hard to tell from the screen grab, but it looks like court or parliament type benches with a person who has fallen over.

It makes me think of a surgical theater, like this, though I can't find a matching painting with google image search.

To answer my own question, it's The Gross Clinic, painted by Thomas Eakins

The Gross Clinic, or, The Clinic of Dr. Gross, is an 1875 painting by American artist Thomas Eakins.

For questions like this, the answer usually lies in either the Simpsons Archive or the Simpsons wiki.
