Train the Trainer

I'm looking for great train-the-trainer, up-your-facilitation game workshops for professional development. What does the hive mind suggest?

I'm in the U.S. in the pacific northwest, but could travel to other parts of the U.S. I'm interested in finding great 2-3 day workshop intensives that might help me develop my facilitation skills.

I consider myself a strong trainer/facilitator now, but would love to bring even more interactivity and thoughtful reflection to the various trainings and meetings I run. So I'm really looking for workshops that focus on that.

Best answer: I took a Bob Pike workshop a few months ago and REALLY liked it. Mine was a 'custom/private' workshop for my whole team where certain items were selected and focused on, but I think one of their standard workshops would have what you are looking for.

If you're interested in visual facilitation, check out the workshops run by David Sibbet and his colleagues at The Grove. He's written a number of books on his approach (e.g., Visual Meetings, Visual Teams, etc.) so you can get a taste of whether it's right for you.
