Controlling Google Sheets using Google Now voice commands

I'd like to use Google Now voice commands to easily add household expenses to a shared spreadsheet. I can't work out if this is possible (yet). What can I do instead?

You can use Tasker + AutoVoice to register arbitrary commands. From Tasker it should be relatively easy to write a plugin to add rows to a spreadsheet.

That's probably the way to go, although I should add my experience with that combination. I am an experienced Tasker user and I found working with AutoVoice very clunky and eventually gave up on it.

You can already use google voice to add items to Evernote or google keep. There's bound to be an IFTT recipe that watches Evernote or Keep for new items and adds them to a google spreadsheet.

And google spreadsheets in Drive have built-in sharing functionality.
