Is there a place in southern NH/NE Massachusetts that serves fried pickles? I followed the suggestion of a member of this board (you know who you are) and tried the deep fried pickles in Chattanooga Tennessee. I am hooked and am looking for a source closer to home. help me out here.

If you can find a Cracker Barrell (they are pervasive, I think) they serve frickles.

There are a couple of Cracker Barrel restaurants in Massachusetts. One up near Andover/Lawrence, and one on the South Shore somewhere.

I'm 99% sure I had some a couple of years ago somewhere on Mass Ave just outside of Porter - sorry I can't be more specific, I don't remember where it was exactly - they were great though.

Maybe you could just make 'em yourself.

Joe Sent Me in North Cambridge has them. I swear Redbones in Davis Sq., Somerville has them, but I just checked the menu and don't see them. Oh and the Linwood in Boston (Fenway) has them, too.

I had them in Alabama and looked for a source close to home, too.

Redbones has them, but they're only on the late-night menu. I was actually there last night and was considering asking for them at 9pm, but didn't. Not sure if you can get them before 10:30 or whatever.

For a more complete list, we recently discussed this on Chowhound.

Coolidge Corner Clubhouse has them and I'm pretty sure that they had 'em at the Sunset Grill when I was there a few weeks ago.

There's a chain called Razoo's that serves them. I think it's owned by the same folks that own Macaroni Grill, so there may be one in your area. (Razoos:Cajun::On the Border:Mexican).
