Source of Mickey and Donald's Strange Philosophy

Does anyone know the source of the dialogue in this strange Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck comic panel edit?

I've been looking around but can't seem to find where it's from and it's driving me nuts. The best I've been able to come up with is that it might be a paraphrase of the ideas of Russian mystic/philosopher George Gurdjieff. The "perish like a dog" part especially comes up in his works a few times, and his views seem to match what the characters are saying.

I don't think it's a quote. I suspect that the wording is an original creation by a meme-maker who happens to be enrolled in some undergrad level philosophy of mind courses.

The wording reads to me very much like it is in the style popular in a current crop of absurdist memes.

As for the discussion itself, it's a very old debate between essentially Existential/Epistemological Nihilism and Absurdism. You can see these debates play out in the works of Kierkegaard, Churchland, Sartre, and Camus.
