Help me get my groovetube on!

I really love this product (it is cool, isn't it?) - but as a Canadian, it seems just out of my grasp as they won't ship it to me. This site also has it, but again, discriminates against Canadians. Does anyone know anywhere else I can get it, either online or in person (I'm in Toronto) or something similar?
Failing that, I remember some online services that will act as a broker for cross-border shipping, but my searches have come up empty, anyone have recommendations for those?

They used to have them at Urban Outfitters, Yonge and Queen. That was 2 years ago, though. You're a little late to the hip. ;)

You could just make your own, which I think would be way cooler anyway.

I was afraid of that. Urban Outfitters? Really? Ugh. That probably means it was hip about 2 years before they got it!
Thanks JMOZ, I've been having problems with flash, and it made it hard to go through that awkward list, but I swear I checked. My bad. I'll check it out.
I would try to make my own, however I'd have a problem due to my utter lack of any kind of manual dexterity or skill in the craft milieu.

Just as an answer to at least part of your question, BorderFree is a cross-border shopping broker (run by Canada post now, how bout that?), but they only have specific retailers that you can shop with.

Loquax, I receive then re-ship stuff for people all the time. My email is in my profile and I'd be happy to do it for you.

Actually, I remember seeing this advertised or written up in High Times somewhere in the late '70s to early '80s under the name Channel One. So maybe it's retro again.

Response by poster: That store you mentioned JMOZ does in fact have them. Thanks very much. Thanks also for the offer to reship and the other cross border shipping ideas. I have accepted my essential lack of hipness and will be going to pick one up this afternoon. Happy holidays!
