Are there any available statistics on merchanise revenue broken out by Star Wars character? For example, I'm curious how much money the General Grievous character made Lucasfilm via toys, games and figurines.

Toy industry trade magazines and statistical bodies might be the way to go. Lucasfilm has never been a public company (prior to its sale to Disney) afaik, so there might not be anything like earnings reports. But you might be able to learn something from the filings of a big retailer, like Toys R Us, or maybe even Disney.
