Identify this pop song with strings

I heard a song in a store. Could you help me identify it in lieu of my phone?
I caught only the tail end of the song (and it was super quiet so I couldn't catch enough of the lyrics to search). Can anyone help me identify it?
-Singer is female. Voice is clear, no nasal-y/sultry undertones (at least in the lines I managed to catch).
-Song is in English
-It was streamed off of iTunes' "BestNet Radio"; probably the Top 40 pop, warm and soft, or Christmas pop music channels. (iTunes doesn't list song names in the playlist, otherwise this would be easier.) I heard it yesterday around 10:15-11 am Pacific time.
-It's a ballad-y song, lots of violins/strings with backing piano. No disco, dance, drums, synth, or overly loud beat. Softer pop would be my guess.
-Stylistically, I'd peg the song style as late 90s to late 2000s.
-The only part of the lyrics I caught was the second-last and last lines of the chorus:
Second last line...I think start with "angels" or something similar
Last line: "here we are" (here we come?) something something...line is about 9-10 syllables long. [line repeat again as song ends]
I've downloaded Shazam so this doesn't happen again, but this song continues to elude me after two days.
Thank you all!

(given the time of year and the fact that nobody I know seems to know this song I'm going to offer this... *shrugs* good luck Zelos)

Response by poster: Unfortunately none of those are it. Oh well, it was a long shot anyway. I'm at the point where I can't even recall the melody anymore, so I'm giving up. Thank you all!
