Any way to search which local businesses do not have websites on google?

I'm looking to freelance web design for local restaurants in my area. Is there a way to sort businesses with a website from those without? Obviously you can just click through but it's not very efficient. Thanks!

here, the local paper has a restaurant review section online. a restaurant with a web page has a link to its site. so if you're looking for restaurants without a web page (which would otherwise be "on google") then it's just the restaurants without links.

i think the local "yellow pages" web site is similar.

With apologies for the orthogonal answer: if your goal is sales, you might consider that restaurants with crappy websites have at least demonstrated a willingness to invest in their online presence. By contrast, if a restaurant doesn't have a website, it's unlikely the reason will be that the restaurant's owner just hadn't considered one.

Yelp has a link to the website right under the address. And adding to cribcage's answer, I have paid the bills selling web design for years. Restaurants with an existing site are much better targets. If I was targeting restaurants responsive and getting the menus out of pdf formal, with is mostly useless to the 50% of mobile users hitting their site, would be how I framed my pitch.

As a customer, I am amazed at how many restaurants have sites that look nice, but no menu, and sometimes the location is hard to find.

Go to http://www.google.com/mapmaker?hl=en
You can play around with the search filters to show Restaurants. Click on the place's dot on the map, click on "Details" in the pop up, and the website that Google associates with the location is shown.
You may also want to try Local Scraper.
