What is the best eyeglasses shop in Richmond, VA?

I need a new pair of spectacles and I live in Richmond, VA. Where should I go? My preference is for black, heavy, Michael Stipe glasses. I had a pair a couple of years ago, but lost them. I would prefer to deal with a brick-and-mortar store.

Have you tried Carytown Optical next to Carytown Burgers & Fries?
