What's that Buckaroo poem?

CowboyPoetryFilter: identify a poem whose
every verse ended in the word buckaroo.
Some time in the early 90's on LA public radio I heard a program of Cowboy Poetry. One of the poems (which was performed live, IIRC) had a reoccuring refrain, and I wrote one of them down:
Out in the West
When you lay me to rest
You know I can just buckaroo.
Sources desired, my GoogleFu fails.

Response by poster: Leon Flick looks promising -- reckon I'll have to order his cassette for verification?

I couldn't find the poem online, so I guess so. Good luck!
