Custom embroidered patches?

I'm looking for a place that will make me very small batches of custom embroidered patches according to a design I upload — ideally three at a time, though I could purchase a larger batch if they're cheap. I've found a bunch of places online that do this (mainly in huge batches), and etsy custom offers, but is any place particularly good? I don't need graphic design or a template-maker.

One thing you're probably going to find with runs that small is that because of setup costs, you're going to pay out the nose on a per-patch basis (like $15-20 per patch), and the price per patch falls dramatically as you go from 3-5 to 50 or so. For example, six 3" patches would run you about $100, while fifty of the same patch will run about $130.

I've used custompatches.net a number of times for slightly-larger runs than this (around 200-250); they have great service and will price-match in the unlikely event you find a cheaper price somewhere else.

Seconding Custom Patches. I've used them for an odd-shaped patch and they were around $10 each for 12 patches, around $5 each for 25 patches, and the price for 50 patches was the same as the price for 25.

Hah, thirding Custom Patches. I used them for a larger run (100), but they were great!
