Upbeat Feminist Resources

I'm looking for upbeat feminist resources--blogs, comics, music, film, Twitter accounts, Tumblrs, etc, that are celebratory, happy, and proud.

I subscribe to a lot of resources that focus on the activist side. While these resources are invaluable and empowering, I find that if I consume too many of them I get despondent and angry because there's so much that I can't fix that upsets me. I need a little more balance. I'm looking for anything that makes me go, "fuck yeah, I'm proud to be a woman, fuck yeah, there are good people on our side, fuck yeah, we're good at what we do and we will eventually reach the parity we deserve". What are some feminist resources that help you keep on keepin' on?

It's officially for kids, but I really like the Mighty Girl Facebook feed for a quick boost along those lines.

I love Amy Poehler's Smart Girls. It's all about women young and old doing great things and making the world a better place. I mostly follow them on Facebook.

Primarily written for a teenage audience, but 'upbeat feminist' is a good description: Rookie, an online magazine started by Tavi Geninson about 4 years ago, and still publishing daily.

It's a coloring book. But so delightful. It tends to come out at my house during the dessert course at dinner parties. Someone reads aloud to the table. It's delightful. I think this is my favorite page but its hard to choose. It is a serious subject attacked with heart, joy and humor.

Two fab newsletters: Two Bossy Dames (less explictly feminist, but they certainly lean that way) and Uptalk (all the content highlighted is by women). The children's book Rad American Women that is lovely for people of all ages. I own a copy, and it is marvelous.
