Brushes for my new beloved CREAM contour palette

I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Palette. What makeup brushes do I use?

I'm very deeply love with this cream palette, but I'm not sure I'm using the best makeup brushes. I'm using the same ones I was using for the powder contour palette. And there must be better brushes to use for this.

I need a new set for the cream contour palette. The cream is cream but kind of a dry blending cream. Which set should I buy?

(I heart the beauty blender sponge but I can only use it as a last blending step and I only have 1 and they're too expensive to use for each of the six colors.or to constantly wash and use between color application.)

Halp please.

There are a few demos and reviews of the palette on youtube that might give you some ideas for what brushes will create the look that you want.

However, if you find that the Beauty Blender works well, have a look for dupes. I've never used a real BB, but I've been happy with the dupes that I've tried. I guess I should not ever use a real one, in case I get hooked!

Best answer: In this video, for example, the vloggers tools include a MAC 130 brush and a Beauty Blender. She also uses some kind of small brush for her nose, but I couldn't catch the name/type.

I took a look at a bunch of them, but for the dryness of the cream I hoped I could find stiffer but less expensive brushes?

Maybe something less expensive than MAC brushes? I mean someday, hopefully (if it weren't poor taste to put a bunch of MAC brushes on a wedding registry, I'd just give up and get married to some schmoe tomorrow).

Best answer: Can you buy ELF products where you are?

I googled for dupes of the MAC 130 and found two different sites claiming that the ELF small stipple brush is a decent dupe.

Response by poster: Yes! You're amazing, kinddieserzeit! One of the grocery stores near me has elf products!

Yeah, I used dupes at first, then got the real thing and I can't go back. Beware for sure!

Also Eco-Tools makes really decent quality brushes that also come in value sets so you can experiment. Lot's of times Ulta or other drug stores have them on sale too. I think they cost a bit more than Elf unless you buy sets, but the quality is a bit better.

Best answer: Real Techniques also does good, fairly cheap duo fiber brushes. I have one I use for other cream products and I love it.
