What's that tune? (50s instrumental)

Lounge Lizards of MeFi, please ID this track. Easy listening, maybe just non-vocal, kinda South of the Border. Link to unknown cover version plus

This is the music, a 29-second sample from a scratchy LP, long gone. Hope me (and don't laugh).

Response by poster: Thank you, Strangely! Clebanoff, again -- Shazam successfully sourced another mystery track to him, but drew a blank on this one.

Best answer: The linked YT gets the title of the song wrong -- it's from a movie called Anna. The YT performance (and your original vinyl) is Silvana Mangano's El Negro Zumbon, which was also used in The Avalanches' Frontier Psychiatrist (slowed down a tad).

(I can't grammar today. The YT link is a cover of the original performance from the movie that I linked.)

I was guessing Edmundo Ros but I'm really happy to have made Clebenoff's acquaintance!

That is indeed El Negro Zumbon. Pink Martini did a cover of it.
