Irritated throat since leaky shower investigation!

I know you guys are not my doctor etc, I'm just wondering whether the hive mind thinks this is worthy of a doctor's appointment or not.

So the shower leaked yesterday through a suspended ceiling onto the floor. I removed (pushed aside) one of the ceiling tiles to inspect damage and see if all the water had drained away and some fine grit fell from the cavity. It didn't fall on my face, but it fell around me.

Since then, and this was only yesterday afternoon, I've had an irritated throat (non productive cough) and the odd headachey pang now and then.

I haven't had any headaches per se, but I'm getting the occasional fleeting...pang. I can't think of a better word for it. I THINK, but this may be an invention of my mind, I have a fleeting ache in my left lung as well.

I should say I am quite sensitive to dust, cat dander, pollen etc. But the reaction is normally a sneezey irritated nose response not a chesty one. Is this likely to just... pass?? Help?! THANKS

Best answer: Dust can make me feel irritated too, since I'm very sensitive to it also. I think what you are experiencing is normal and nothing to worry about. I would stop worrying about it. If it doesn't pass after a week, then go see a doctor, but it will pass. For the record, re: black mold. I once accidentally ate black mold I didn't see in a piece of fruit. I spent the next 24 hours throwing up and pooping, but was otherwise fine. You're fine.
