Origin of an old joke about James Bond

Help me remember where this joke about James Bond came from.

A woman is talking with her friend (mother, maybe?) after meeting James Bond. She tells her friend that she isn't sure if he's into her because he seems cold and distant.

Her friend shakes her head and says something to the effect of, "honey, he's handsome, middle-aged, unmarried, well-dressed, witty, cosmopolitan, and loves martinis. He's obviously gay."

I can't for the life of me remember where this came from. TV? Sketch comedy? A movie? It seems a little dated so I would guess it was from the 90's or earlier (obviously predating Skyfall, where Bond himself jokes about being gay).

There was this sketch on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip back in 2007.

From episode 17, The Disaster Show
"Mr. Bond, I hope you like your martini's strong."
"Mmm, like my men."
"Pardon me?"
"Nothing."
