Newfoundlanders needed!

Let me preface this with: I'm not a creeper, I swear. When I was little, my parent and I would go for drives out along Marine Drive, near St. John's, NL. Out there there was a house (white, I think), saltbox single-story style, with a little round field next to it. This would've been in the late 80's, early 90's, probably Logy Bay area. I could be wrong: it could be as far as Pouch Cove, but I don't think so. Does this house/property still exist? Does it ring any bells for anyone? I've tried using Google Street View, but that's a lot of street to cover and the windbreaks along the side of the road may be limiting visibility. The field is the distinctive part, though I seem to recall that the house was also surrounded by the usual conifer growth. I know it's a longshot! I'm just feeding my nostalgia today.

Best answer: Google Earth would probably help, particularly if you're looking for the little round field and know the general area.

Little white saltbox describes a lot of the houses in that area. The round field part doesn't ring a bell though.

The greater St.John's area has seen a huge housing boom in the last 30 years, and fields surrounded by conifers fill in pretty quickly, when left untended, so it would probably be tough to find today, even if you were in the area.
