Mary Tyler Moore Theme Cover

Who covers the Mary Tyler Moore theme song "Love Is All Around" in the Chase bank commercial?
It's not the Joan Jett or Husker Du versions. There is another song by the same name by The Troggs, covered by Wet Wet Wet, which is not the same song. I've also found clips by "2oo Much Fun" and some DJ Bobo, and it's not those either. The Chase marketing documents don't mention the artist, and all the bloggers talking about it don't know either.

I don't know the commercial either, but Husker Du did it back in the eighties.

REM also covered it way back when. If you post a link to the song, maybe we can zero in.

REM covered the Troggs' "Love is All Around", not the MTM themesong.

RealPlayer
Windows Media
(from Chase's website) There's even a .pdf storyboard, but it doesn't tell us who's doing the song.

Best answer: Here is a blog post from a guy who worked on and possibly conceived the campaign. As you can see from Guy's link, the spot is called "First Checking."
I'm sure if you e-mailed him he could tell you what you're looking for. Seems like a nice guy.

On hearing the song from one of Guy Smiley's link, I can absolutely positively definitely say that this is NOT the Urge Overkill version.

Heh. The other day I was on Soulseek and I was like "No way! REM covered the Mary Tyler Moore theme!?" Imagine my disappointment...
There is another song by the same name by The Troggs, covered by Wet Wet Wet.
And, as I'm sure everyone in this thread knows, this was the song turned into "Christmas Is All Around" by Billy Nighy in Love, Actually. (The Wet, Wet, Wet version was a hit off the Four Weddings & A Funeral soundtrack, which was directed by the same guy.)
British readers, feel free to skip the proceeding paragraph.

After listening to it, cash money says it was a custom studio session explicitly for the commercial. The cheesy enunciation and the emphasis on the treble/vocals leads me to that conclusion.
In rare cases, these can get released later on. But not usually.

Seconded, but I didn't want to jump the gun since we are now on hold for the Creative Director.

Response by poster: Well, that was fast. Here's the answer:
"We produced the recording for the commercial and used a bunch of different session musicians and singers. It's no one famous."
Crud. I wanted a copy. It sounded good!
