Exact Measurements of an IKEA Hemnes 3 drawer chest

I'm interested in buying a specific dresser at IKEA (Hemnes 3 drawer chest), but I am trying to fit it into a small nook and I need more specific measurements than they can give me. Would someone who has this dresser at home be willing to measure it for me?
Specifically, I need to know the width of the dresser itself (not the top, which has an overhang). I also need to know the height of the gap at the bottom of the dresser (the length of the legs). I called IKEA and they were not able to help me beyond the information that's on the website-- I'd like to make sure it will fit before I drive a long way to pick it up. Thanks in advance!

If you are the kind of nerd who has downloaded Google's 3D software Sketch-up, almost all IKEA furniture can be found in their libraries, and you can measure the overhang and the legs on the model.

Best answer: The dresser itself, sans overhang, is 39 3/8 inches wide. It is 18 7/8 inches deep without the overhang.
The gap/legs are just shy of 4 5/8 inches at the front and are just about 5 inches on the side.
Mine is red, if that makes a difference.

Best answer: The overhang is 2 inches on one side, and 1 7/8 inches on the other. Precision may not be IKEA's best feature. The front overhang is 1/2 inch.

Response by poster: Thanks for the quick response! Will you confirm that the top is 42.5" wide? That's what the IKEA website has listed for the current model.

My top is 43 1/4. Possible different colors have different widths..

The top on mine is 43.25" x 20". Mine is white, and at least 4 years old.
