80's sax solo

I've got a riff from a saxophone solo stuck in my head and I can't remember what song it's from. I think it's from a Phil Collins or Genesis or similar track from the 80's. The riff sort of goes "doo dooo do do do, do doo do do, do DO do do dah da dum dah da". The general ambiance is sort of nighttime sultry. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

The sax solo is played by Raphael Ravenscroft, who died just last year.

That one's been in my head off and on for a zillion years. I used to think it was Kenny G, until one of my co-workers corrected me.

Slinga, that was crazy impressive. I have no idea how you got that so quickly based on that description.

Long ago, in the before-time, I once called a radio station to ask this very question. Alas, my humming of the riff over the phone wasn't good enough for the DJ to identify.

I think Careless Whisper has to be taken into account, phatkitten.

Just in case, lemme post links to what the songs mentioned thus far actually SOUND like, so you can check:

90% of all questions about a saxophone song are asking about Baker Street.
Here's how true that is: I saw that the question was about a sax riff, assumed it was about Baker Street, looked at the actual question, saw that the description didn't really match Baker Street, and it was still about Baker Street.
