Name That Tune

So I was listening to top-40 radio in the car, and I heard a newish song that had either a tin whistle or recorder (or the like) as part of the hook. It's a hip-hop influenced song. The whistle appears in the middle of the verse, and it's something like a (dotted ?) quarter note and two eighth notes. What's the song? I believe in you, MetaFilter!

I think Ke$ha's "Crazy Kids" also has a whistle.

Response by poster: None of those. Though it's closest to Jason Derulo. Rather than whistling, it has a tin whistle or recorder.

Response by poster: It was in the same vein as Flo Rida's newest stuff, though.

Flo Rida ft. Robin Thicke - I Don't Like It, I Love It? I think you can hear a recorder or tin whistle sounding bit in the middle of a few verses, e.g. around 1:50. There's a more whistly bit in the chorus that's probably not what you're talking about, though.

Response by poster: Nope. The hook is the whistle/recorder: quarter-eighth-quarter, D, F, G; G, F, D (I think that's right). So the whistle goes up and then down.

I don't know if the notes you wrote above discount this, but in case they don't, could it be Skrillex and Bieber?. Recorder-y bit starts around 1.10

Maybe two more to rule out:

Pitbull ft. Chris Brown - Fun (more like pan pipes than recorder or tin whistle)
E-40 ft. T-Pain - U and Dat (not a very new song and the notes don't seem to match, but it has the most recorder-like hook that I could find)

Response by poster: None of those three. But I'm impressed by the scope of suggestions!
