The night never questions the stars when they appear.

I was listening to a mix tape and THIS BIT was included. It has a nice bit of spoken word that googles no real results.

The spoken part is:

Rivers are not jealous of oceans because they are bigger,
and oceans don’t try and dominate rivers and creeks because they are smaller.
Because somehow they sense that all are part of it all,
and so they just exist!
One writer said that: the night never questions the stars when they appear - They just exist!
I hope y'all understand what I’m sayin'.

Can anyone name the source?

I'm not taking credit for this, Shazam figured it out instantly:

Note: not sure if the spoken word part is sampled from something else, but it is included in the track linked.

Response by poster: I was looking to attribute the spoken-word bit to someone beyond the song. Sorry, I presented the question poorly.
