Can you identify this statue that was in Berlin in 1945

This 7 minute youtube video shows colour footage of Berlin in 1945 right after the war. The whole thing is pretty cool but I'm specifically interested in identifying this statue which appears at the 2 minute mark. I'm fairly sure it's not in Berlin anymore but maybe it is? Can anyone identify this statue? I'd like to know if it is still in the city somewhere and if not, what happened to it. Thanks!

Best answer: Looks like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Kaiser_Wilhelm_Monument

Demolished in 1950, unfortunately, though some individual pieces were moved elsewhere.

Best answer: Yes, it is the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument. According to the Wikipedia article, some of the pieces are now at the Berlin zoo.

Response by poster: Less than 20 minutes! I knew I could count on metafilter :)

That's sad that it was demolished. I was hoping the lounging statues might have survived and been moved somewhere else but I guess it was not to be.

Thanks!
