Family-friendly hotel in Victoria BC?

We are a party of 4 traveling by ferry from Seattle. We will not have a car. What are your favorite hotels in Victoria?
We always stayed at the Empress as it's so classic. Plus, the tea :)

2nd the Marriott, also the Best Western Inner Harbour. Just up a block from the ferry dock.

The Victoria harbour is family hotel heaven — super walkable from the Seattle ferry, near all the main attractions and the transit hub. Depending on your budget, you can't go wrong with the Grand Pacific, the Best Western, or basically any hotel just west of the Parliament building.
If you want to Airbnb it, I'd recommend something in James Bay — it's not the most exciting neighbourhood to live in, but it's perfect for visitors. Near the water, near a huge park, walkable to downtown.

The Embassy has a pool. As does the Hotel Grand Pacific. The Best Western is in a good location - I live just up the street.
Harbour Towers is worth considering too.

I stayed at the Victoria Regent, which has full kitchens and an on site laundry.

We stayed at the Inn at Laurel Point with our two kids in November - it was great. The suite rooms are nice and big with a separate bedroom. It's a short walk from the inner harbour.

I stayed in a James Bay apartment for one month last summer with my son and husband. It was a perfect location. Found it on airbnb
