Wash & fold laundry in Brooklyn Heights?

Pick-up, drop-off, no drama: why is this so difficult?

I'm looking for a reliable laundry service/laundromat that will do wash & fold with pickup and drop-off in Brooklyn Heights. I'm open to actual laundromats or any of these app-based services that seem to be popping up but I can't find anything that is well-reviewed and services the neighborhood.

My fantasy: I'd love to have a regular place that I could call, they'd come fetch the laundry within the hour, take care to not put the stuff in the dryer that's labeled "no dryer", return it clean and folded within 24 hours, allowing me to keep a credit card on file for easy payment. Around $1/lb. would be ideal. I've lived in Manhattan and Cobble Hill and found lots of places that will do this, no problem, but the Heights has proven challenging.

(In an old post I found a mention of this place--but I've never heard of anyone who's tried it.

Best answer: There's a small family owned dry cleaner below street level at the NE Corner of Hicks and Pineapple. They do a terrific job with wash and fold; I don't recall the price exactly, I think it was $1.10/lb (I moved away last year). I did not use their pick up service but I'm pretty sure they offer it. Definitely give them a try.

Best answer: I've only used it twice, but delivery.com has laundry service now. Through them, I get mine done at the Jane Laundromat in Boerum Hill, and it checks pretty much all the boxes you specified. Not sure if you are in their delivery zone or not (I'm in Park Slope, not sure how far their zone goes towards your way). They're $1 per pound, 15 pound minimum, plus a tip for the delivery guy.

Response by poster: I used the place below the street at Hicks and Pineapple (I think it's Coleman Cleaners) but I didn't know about Delivery.com--there seem to be a whole bunch of places on there, and not having to use the phone is a huge plus. Thanks so much.
