Name that deli?

What Italian specialty foods shop, located in NYC, was described on a semi-recent episode of either Slate's Culture Gabfest or Slate's Double X Gabfest?

The episode was semi-recent (within the past 3 months, I think), and the host described the store as an incredible, old-school NYC experience. (S)he also said it was very crowded, and the only way to avoid the crowds was to visit first thing in the morning.

I know Slate has an archive where they catalogue things mentioned/endorsed on their show, but I've looked, and I can't find reference to this deli/grocery store. I don't really want to go through both podcasts episode by episode until I find it. Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Best answer: I'm not familiar with the podcasts but that sounds like Di Palo's to me.
