Help identifying makers mark on mid-century modern (maybe) chairs?

We've found a great pair of chairs, and I've found the makers mark at the bottom, but for the life of me can't make it out. I've tried googling for variants - buhn, buhk, bahn, bahk - but no luck. Does anyone recognize it? Mark Chair

I don't know who the manufacturer is, but it doesn't really look like a classic midcentury, Danish-style chair to me because of the proportions. It's a little more like a library chair, like this one: http://cdn.thelibrarystore.com/images/uploads/library_furniture/94-04605.jpg.

I was going to say library chair as well. I have eight chairs in my dining room that look like that chair. I am going to go look for a mark or label.
I know mine are library chairs because they were purchased at a library sale.

I just checked my chairs and I cannot find anything but an old library sticker. My chairs have a solid upper back covered in turquoise material. The style is similar but not exactly.
I hope your chairs are the real thing, but if not, they are still very nice chairs.

Response by poster: Library chairs would be fantastic. We love them, no matter what - it's just driving me crazy that I can't read the name :) I'll email the folks at Buhler and see if that's an old mark of theirs. And if anyone else has any suggestions, I'm happy to hear them!
