Recommendation for NYC-area psychiatrist that takes Fidelis Medicaid?

Seeking recommendation for board-certified psychiatrist in western Long Island, Brooklyn, or NYC.

Asking for my LI friend. Seeking recommendation for board-certified psychiatrist in western Long Island, Brooklyn, or NYC. Longstanding (decades) depression and probable PTSD. Has not seen a psychiatrist before. Must take Fidelis Medicaid insurance.

Best answer: The Jewish Board of Family and Child Services has a lot of community counseling services. There's no Jewishness requirement to see them, nor do they care what your religion is (or if you've opted out). My therapist is there and I've been seeing her on and off for 13 years. And yes, they do have psychiatrists and psychologists.
