How to change Game Center ID?

I have 2 iDevices (iphone and ipad). I would like to play Civilization Revolution against my wife on these two devices. How do I change the Game Center ID on one of these so as to have two different identities, so that we can use these two devices to play against each other?

I believe it's as simple as going to Settings > Game Center, tapping on the blue "Apple ID: " part and signing out. Then tap on it again to create a new ID, which should be an option, and log in with the new ID (if necessary). Log in with the other (old) ID on the other device if necessary. Sorry, can't test these steps at the mo.
