Brands/stores like Jones New York?

Jones New York is apparently going under, so I'm looking for alternatives. Examples of what I like: this, this, and this. I'm looking for casual and business-casual clothes that are pretty standard with some interesting touches. My other main places to shop are Goodwill and Marshalls, where I look for Splendid, Loft, BR, James Perse, etc.

Argh, am bummed about Jones NY!

Don't know where you are, but Federated (i.e. Macy's and Bloomingdale's) have a house brand called INC (I think it's all caps). It's reasonably priced, even at Bloomingdale's, and their stuff is similar in feel to Jones.

Nordstrom house brands Halogen and Caslon - skew younger.

Coldwater Creek (online only now) - skews older.

At the very least you can stock up on JNY clothing at Ross Dress for Less! They always have a ton at my local store.

Calvin Klein, Anne Klein and Tahari might be worth checking out.

New York & Company is pretty good on the standard business casual stuff. Plus they frequently have ridiculous sales.

How about Ann Taylor Loft? If you sign up for their credit card, they'll send you a coupon, like, every day. I only signed up for the card for the coupons.

Ann Taylor- especially the sales rack.

JC Penney? Sometimes you have to dig a bit to avoid things that look matronly or cheap (too much Spandex/polyester), but I've found nice business-casual clothes there, and it's generally more affordable than Talbots or Ann Taylor.

Express Design Studio, INC, New York & Company, Banana Republic (which is more expensive than the others), and Apt 9 (although I think they specialize in petite) all make business casual type clothes similar to Jones New York and like the blouses pictures.

I'd suggest taking a look at this store on ebay called BHFO:

Browse their selection (you don't have to register on ebay if you don't already have an account) and you may find certain brands that specialize in the style you like.

(not affiliated but have bought from them several times)
