Googlesharing is dead. Long live...the alternative?

The Firefox addon Googlesharing is now completely dead. It's not compatible with current and later versions of Firefox at all, even when hacking it to make the version numbers compatible. Firefox has a different method of proxying, or something. What's a good alternative?

Googlesharing would proxy various user-specified services completely seamlessly without any user input. I want some way to send any kind of non-login Google traffic through a proxy in the same fashion (ie, without any kind of input/alteration on my end). For example, I don't want to proxy Gmail, but I do want to proxy Maps. I don't want to run all of my Firefox traffic through a proxy, just specific Google services. I'm already using Startpage.com for searches, but some web-based software I use forces me to stick with Google Maps.

How can I do this?
