Physiology Question for Star Wars Fans

What is the appearance of Dathomiri blood? Color, viscosity, anything like that.
I don’t believe this is unanswerable, because it may have come up in EU stuff, and I could care less if it’s currently considered canonical. The trouble is that Clone Wars, being ostensibly a kid’s show, never showed blood. Lightsabers and blasters both cauterize, conveniently. I know there’s a reference book out there on Star Wars species, and it’s possible an answer is in there, but I don’t have access to it. Nothing on Wookiepedia, nothing I can find with a Google search.
And yes, before you ask, this is for purposes of creating transformative fan works. AFAIK, there are no rules against asking such questions here, but if there are, I respectfully defer to the mods.

If it's the rancor, they look like they have pink mouths BUT some types have green poison gas sacs and greenish skin. So I have no idea what color their blood would be, but most fan art makes it look blue or green...

Response by poster: I'm particularly interested in the witches, although anything I can learn about SW species is useful. Sorry I didn't specify. I think of them as the dominant species. I've always heard of the humanoid denizens of the planet (who aren't Zabrak anyway) as "near-human" so that didn't seem entirely clear, but thanks for weighing in. I think you are probably right. I just like to be thorough.

Do you mean the Rakata? They were a nearly humanoid Dathomirian race, that was kinda amphibian like, that was very force sensitive til they fell to the dark side of the Force and also went cannibal.
The Witches are the descendents of a rogue/rebellious Jedi Knight who got exiled there to think about the Force. Most of them are totally human, but there are some Zabrak/human Nightsisters who might be described as near human, I guess?
OH!!! Darth Maul is a Zabrak/human -- what color does he bleed in the movies?

The Witches of Dathomir appear to be modeled after the Rattataki species that's playable in SWTOR, but according to canon it looks like they're actually from sister species that's a Zabrak-Human hybrid. The Wookiepedia says:
The Nightsister and Dark Acolyte named Asajj Ventress was generally thought to be a Rattataki, while in fact she was a similar Zabrak-Human hybrid species called Dathomirian.
Then if you go to the Dathomirian entry on Wookiepedia, there's a bit of genealogy to be had regarding the similarity between Rattataki and the Dathomirians.
All that aside, given their similarity to the Rattataki, I'd say their blood is purple or black.
This question gives me so much life, my god. :D
