Christmas breakfast in Seattle north of downtown

I'd really like to go out to breakfast on Christmas morning, without having to venture downtown or Capitol Hill. Looking for a place in Ballard, Greenwood, Phinney Ridge, Broadview, even Shoreline. Anyone know a place that would be open, or a place that has been open in prior years that I can call to check? Thanks! (Prefer a regular breakfast joint vs a fancy set-menu brunch.)

I can't seem to find if they're open on Christmas or not, but Beth's Cafe would be an option if they are.

Porkchop & Company has breakfast from 8-2 W-F, call to check if they're open for Christmas. Menu looks good.

Hatties-Hat serves breakfast from 10-3 on weekdays, again, call to see if they're open.

Salmon Bay Cafe

If none of these places turns out to be open on Christmas, there is a certain je ne sais quoi about sitting in a Denny's or IHOP, eating a heart attack on a plate and over tipping.

Tom Douglas's Biscuit would be a good place. It's in SLU, which might, for a change, actually be a little quiet on Christmas Day.

I started to suggest Skillet Diner, but they're closed on Christmas, alas. Dang.

People rave about The Dish Cafe; location at Greenlake (65th, east of the lake a few blocks) and in Ballard (Frelard, really, on Leary way next to the Leary Traveller, just a bit up from Hale's Brewery).

Ach, how could I forget Toulouse Petite, corner of Mercer & Queen Anne in Lower QA neighborhood. They're not a regular breakfast joint exactly, doing everything in their creole/cajun ways, but they've got a wonderful menu, and I've always wanted to spend time exploring their Eggs Benedict menu, but first I'm trying to line up a heart transplant that would follow.

Hi-Life in Ballard might be an option.

I started writing this to recommend pattys eggnest on holman road, and then realized christmas morning was the requirement.

I think your options are going to be like, beths on aurora or hatties hat. Call both tomorrow or even right now and verify. I don't think anything else is going to be open.

The dennys in ballard closed, there is one up on aurora right off 155th next to the marshalls and the central market. Failing all else, i guess you could go there. I'd really just call every bar in those areas that does brunch though, and start with hatties and beths. Basically all those bars on ballard ave have good breakfast, but i have no idea which ones are open. Most basically never update their websites, or only every six months.

If suddenly all phones stopped working and someone slapped a huge pile of cash down on the table for me to bet though, i'd bet on beths. I haven't actually heard of a holiday they were closed, and i've been there times when other places would be. And all my alcoholic stoner friends who have worked there were more than happy to come in and collect fat tips as a skeleton crew to serve drunk people on holidays.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Ballard pancake house is open then (and it is awesome).
