Help me find more of these art deco-y trilobite buttons

A few years ago I bought some of these buttons at a fancy fabric store in SF. I lost a couple and now I want more. I went to the store again and they said that once they sold out of them, which they had years ago, they couldn't get more. Please help me prove them wrong.

According to the store they're of European, likely German, origin, and there's an entire limited edition culture of button styles out of Germany I have never heard of where arty button runs are made, sold, and disappear forever. I've spent far too much time looking through button galleries online and had no luck finding matches for these buttons.

Now, metafilter, you are my only hope. I have a project I'd like to make that requires I have about 3 more, and now I want a bunch extra in case some get lost again.

Are they metal or plastic? I can't tell from the picture - I'd start here, to be sure: MJ Trimming

Call Tender Buttons. If anyone will know, they will.

Stone Mountain and Daughter in Berkeley has a lot of buttons of this general sort. I wonder if they'd help if you emailed them the photo?

(I assume you've already tried General Bead? I just flipped through their website and didn't see it, but I don't know if the site is comprehensive.)

Was the "fancy fabric store in SF" Britex? If not, take them into Britex and see if they can match them.

Response by poster: Yep, totally Britex.
