More game recommendations

Looking for more iOS game recommendations according to specific requirements. "Games that are more like toys" might be one place to put it. Update on this question.

Rules:
Must be portrait, cannot be landscape
Does not require Internet connection
Doesn't know if the player is being jostled around on their commute, doesn't care
Can't have any of the game elements I don't like (see below)

Games that meet the requirements that I'm tired of playing:
Monorail (beat it)
Tiny Tower (beat it)
Strategery (beat it)
Pocket Frogs (got bored)
Daddy was a thief
Mew mew tower
That llama game

Games I like but that aren't in portrait mode or don't meet other criteria:
Draw Something
Fruit Ninja
Jetpack Joyride
Rescue Rush
I Love Katamari
Angry Birds, all flavors
Happy Street
Pocket Planes
Pocket Trains
Whale trail
Adventure Time Card Wars

Elements of games that I don't like:
Extended narrative explanations (like in Mystery Room)
Shutting off my music (like in Mystery Room)
Required too many in-game purchases (Tiny Tower Vegas, Disco Zoo)
"Assembling items from components" (like Fast Food Tycoon)
"Match 3 things" (Bejeweled, candy crush, scalawags)
Requires Internet
Whatever Cascaronne is
Word games (anything like Scrabble or Boggle or that needs me to be word smart)
Anything that makes me draw

Popular games I've heard of and don't want:
Plants vs zombies
Cut the rope
Simpsons tapped out

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

Shades - sort of like Tetris

Blendoku - cute colour matching - the screenshots do look like they're landscape but I just checked my copy and it plays fine in portrait (I hate landscape games).

Pivvot - a puzzler

Strata -another puzzler

I want to link up Polymer too, though it is not 'match 3' it is 'match shapes' so not sure if that counts.

Doodle Jump is one of those ones controlled by tilting your device like Katamari, but you might get screwed up in it by your ride depending on how bumpy it is. Paper Galaxy is conceptually similar but has touch controls and the ability to upgrade between games.

The Kairosoft games might work for you; most of 'em are $5 but they can be fun. If you liked Sim Tower/Yoot Tower back in ye olden days, these are pretty similar. Beast Bay is one of the free ones and it's like a weird hybrid between a tourist spot management game and Pokemon.

Threes is great, but I personally prefer the (slightly different) play mechanic of knock-off 2048 better. There are tons of apps, or it works fine in the web browser.

There may be an app version, or just play in the browser.

Response by poster: I'm really enjoying Monument Valley right now! This will keep me busy for awhile and then I'll revist the rest!

Response by poster: Thank you for recommending Flow Free, I just spent the last few months completing all the levels. Great game.
