Is my NJ jury duty over?

Received a summons for NJ jury duty, which got called off the night beforehand. Is my service over for the allotted term, or could I be called up again within the next 3 years?
I received a summons for petit juror service in New Jersey. The day beforehand, I checked the website to find that no jurors were required for either of my 2 original days of service, with the statement "you no longer need to report. your jury service is finished."
My understanding of NJ juries is that "petit jurors are summoned for a minimum of two (2) days or one full trial. As such, jurors who are not selected to serve on a trial by the end of their second day of service have completed their jury service," and that "Once your service is completed, you will not be eligible to be selected again for 3 years."
My question is, does my summons being called-off mean that I'm not eligible again for 3 years? or am i back in the potential juror pool--or back at at the top? Also, if I *have* completed my service, will I be mailed a letter or something attesting to that in case they try to call me up again?
Any real-life NJ experience appreciated!

In MA if your date is cancelled you can be recalled within that three year period.

Morris County, NJ.
Only one day of jeapardy.
First time. At 11:30, a clerk announces that everybody has settled. We are all free to go.
(Years pass)
Second time. Part of two panels. Rejected as juror.
(Second panel was a business thing with a Great Wall of China made of banker boxes of documents behind the picket fence, or whatever they call it.)
(More years pass. No third time)
