Bay Area clothing store for 80-year-old mom

My mother is visiting Berkeley and would like to shop for clothing. She is 80 and her taste runs to Koret and Coldwater Creek but both of those have become online only. Can you recommend a brick and mortar clothing store where she might enjoy shopping for herself? She would be interested in a chain store or an interesting boutique.
I was going to suggest CP Shades, but their Berkeley location appears to have closed.
Regardless, 4th St. in Berkeley is a very fun boutiquey shopping street and she can likely find some clothing stores there that interest her.

Earthly Goods at the corner of Shattuck and Vine. Think Eileen Fisher meets Coldwater Creek. They also have shoes.

Well, this is not at all unique to Berkeley, but she might like some of the things at REI. And it's not that far from the 4th Street shops.

Best answer: Chico's might appeal to her. They're a mall store too. My mom likes their clothes and she's in her late 60s.

I wanted to suggest Flax, which is comfy and well-made and stylish without bashing you over the head with stylish, but am not sure if there're any retailers close enough?

Best answer: If you can make it to Alameda, Kohls is great in terms of both price and selection.

I second Earthly Goods, also great area for walking and lunch. 4th Street shops are nice but $$$!!! So only go if she has some serious cash to spend.

3rding Earthly Goods! There's also Bryn Walker across the street, and both of those should have clothes that would appeal to her. There's also a bunch of other adorable little places to shop on the same block, and many fantastic food options in the area.
