Looking for Beach Plum Jam + Delicious Shortbread on Long Island/NYC

Back in the early 2000's, I went to a bakery on Martha's Vineyard and purchased a jar of Beach Plum jam and a tin of homemade shortbread. Fell in love with the combination. Is it possible to buy Beach Plum Jam on Long Island or in Manhattan? Also, where can find delicious shortbread?

Can't remember which bakery, but it might be this one. Was hoping to buy locally rather than order online or from the bakery.

Long Island's not really a shortbread place. And I understand the buy local impulse, but one thing about shortbread is that it lasts a long time and commercial's often as good or better than home baked. You'll find LI bakeries who make shortbread, but I don't think you'll find a specialist there (but it's easy to make your own....google for recipes!).

I'm less up on jams, but never heard of it on Long Island. Doesn't mean no one is making/selling it. But, generally, I think both halves of the combo you seek are Vineyard/Cape local specialties, and while you can recreate via mail order, it's not local to LI's locality.

PS - fwiw Prince Charles' organic Duchy original is as good as I've had.

Call the Brewster CookShop on The Cape. Have product shipped.

Problem solved.

You can also try The Brewster General Store.

I'm from LI/NYC. Other commenter is correct, Beach Plum anything isn't really "a thing" there. Ditto shortbread.

I also came in to say beach plum jam is a thing in (south) Jersey, Cape May in particular. It's where I first had it. Mmmm, beach plum jam.
