Group Project Workspace Midtown Weekdays NYC

NYCfilter: I have a group that just formed that’s looking for a free-ish workspace in midtown on weekday nights.

It’s a group of 2-5 people, a place that is not super crowded, but can tolerate some random noise and discussion from our group would be good. I’m thinking something in the vein of a Tea Lounge style venue, but Park Slope’s not a good midpoint for our group in terms of travel home etc. Basic requirements: Manhattan midtown or possibly LIC, not crowded (in midtown ha!), will tolerate us hanging around taking up table space, loud enough to tolerate our conversations but not deafening, WiFi is necessary, don’t care if it’s a chain or not, happy to buy food to pay rent on a table would rather not rent by the hour but am open to looking at places if they're really good. Any recommendations or advice are appreciated!

Best answer: Maybe check out a small group meeting room at the NYPL.
