Western Digital Black or Blue Externally for Xbox One?

I have an xbox one and space is quickly running out. I have researched harddrives and western digital seems pretty reliable. If it's going to be used externally via a usb 3.0 docking station will there be any benefit to getting a black drive over a blue drive? The difference is about $20. I don't need it right away so I'm doing my research. This is the docking station I will most likely be using seeing how I already have one. http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-SuperSpeed-Docking-Station/dp/B0099TX7O4

I think Red is for this sort of always on usage, no?

Black is for like, high performance gaming desktops. Get blue or even green. Just whatever the cheapest is for this kind of stuff.

Black is pointlessly hot and noisy for the performance, Green turns itself on and off all the time. Blue or red.

Digital Foundry had an article last month about this. Their takeaway was that just about anything you can plug into the USB port is better than the stock drive, but you don't get much by going with higher performance drives. With that in mind, just get the drive that's the best deal at the capacity that you want.

How about an SSD drive?

Response by poster: @mac-expert because with 50gb+ installs it will run out too quickly
