Nokia PAYG are about £30. Someone, somewhere in the world must want to buy one for more.

You can buy a basic Nokia on a Pay As You Go (NO Contract) for about £30 in the UK. They must cost more than £30 to make and so must be discounted by the carrier. Unlocking is easy, where are they worth the most?

I don't think they would necessarily cost more than £30 to make...what makes you say that?

Virgin Mobile USA has a low-end Nokia PAYG for $30. So I'd say it depends on the specific Nokia model.

I have a phone that I want to sell and I searched on ebay.ca and then ebay.com and then ebay.co.uk, etc., etc.

It was essentially worthless (e.g. $5 or less) everywhere but Australia. On ebay.com.au this model sells for around $100 AUD.

(Then I go to get it unlocked and everyone's telling me that Siemens phones are harder to unlock and so they want like $40 CAD to do it -- grrr. So I'm still looking for someone to do it)

Anyway, I'd check the various eBay sites (as well as any other country-specific sites you can think of -- Craigslist sites, maybe?)
