Help me find PacMan level 2 (island!), please.

I my memory, there was the basic PacMan computer game (not in arcades but on the PC at home) which at some point had a second level - same game idea but the design on the screen was a sunny, sandy island in the middle of the ocean, with treasure chests, palm trees, and maybe even pirates. I remember this fondly and (too) often and wish I could find it again. Does anybody know where to purchase this game or perhaps find it online?
Details within.
I remember playing Pacman on the PC with friends (one after another, not against each other or anything fancy like that) back in the nineties. We played the classic game and - I think - used the keyboard as controls. Now, whether it's because we played for ages or whether one of us perhaps had some sort of "special edition", I don't know, but we did however eventually end up at at second or next level. All I remember is that it was an island, like a Caribbean island with sand, water around it, and treasures and palm trees scattered about. The basic game (of eating pellets while not being eating by the ghosts/monsters or whatever) remained the same. I know I am running the risk of sounding high right now but I promise you that "level 2" existed. I might not have been called that though and, like I said, I haven't been able to find it since. We stopped playing at some point and while I rediscovered PacMan years (decades?) later, I never was able to find this fun "island level" again. Does anybody know what I am talking about?

Response by poster: It pains me to think that we'd have had some 'knock-off version' but I suspect you're most likely right. Thank you, SpacemanStix, for the answer!
