Spoiling the "Legacy of the Aldenata" books

So I started reading the "Legacy of the Aldenata" books of John Ringo, and halfway through book three ("When the devil dances") I lost interest in it. Nonetheless, I would like to know how it all got resolved in the end, but couldn't get good spoilers on the Net. Now, how did the humans defeat those 12 billion Possleens on Earth, did they clash with the Darhel about their sinister plans, are they taking the fight to the Possleens, what happened to Michael O'Neil, any high points, please enlighten me!

I think the wikipedia entry is about all you're going to get from metafilter. Try a science fiction forum, perhaps?

Its been a while since I read this... and reddit books or sci fi subthreads would probably be more helpful... but, if I remember right, in the main series, the humans use tactical nukes to channel the Possleen into a slaughter pen and unleash the full force of their armor/artillery on them. Why they hadn't used nukes before? The world president or whatever is scared of fallout. I believe Cally and O'Neil survive, and some of the leaders of the aliens escape. But, again, not 100% sure on most of that (except the nukes 'because isnt fallout WORSE THAN BEING OVERRUN BY ALIENS?!?!?!')
