Is it possible to get an interesting, if distant, view of the Eiffel Tower without getting into the complicated driving area of Paris?
I have a bit of time spare and would ideally see this icon.
Thanks

Response by poster: Thanks, we have a very young baby who is not up to complex unfortunately.

There are loads of very young babies in Paris public transport. Loooaaads. There are special doors and everything: just look for handicapped access, and a regular ticket will open large doors that a stroller can get through. Metro and RER cars also have large doors, and people are usually well-behaved in that they'll make room for strollers and even help you lift one in and out if needed.
Otherwise you could also go to the west, La Défense, there are parking areas for the CNIT and Les 4 Temps, which are large shopping areas. Go outside, walk east (the opposite direction from when you look to La Grande Arche), and look towards the Arc de Triomphe, you'll see Eiffel slightly to the right. It's small, but you can see it.

You can also see it along the skyline from the Sacre Coer in Monmartre.
