Est-ce que c'est "Au revoir mes amis"?

I am trying to ID this supposedly French song here.

The beginning of it sounds similar to that of Compere Guilleri but according to the title of the song as it appears in the book, that wouldn't be it.

The title would be along the lines of "Goodbye friends" en anglais ("再见吧!朋友" en chinois, as it's from a Chinese music book) so I googled that and found this, whose beginning features a similar rhythm to the song (and also to "Compere Guilleri"). However, according to the website it was written by a language learning company, whereas the song in question is a French folk song.

tl;dr -- can anybody recognize this song, or confirm whether it is "Compere Guilleri" or something else?

I can confirm we used to sing this in class in Toronto and at camp (Anglo-run) in French in the early 80s & probably in the late 70s. You sing "aurevoir mes amis, aurevoir" over and over to that tune, ending w aurevoir.

It's "Bonsoir Mes Amis" and it's Quebecois, not French. Unfortunately I can't help you with finding a recording.
