Where can I order basic sweaters online from Canada? (You'd think it wouldnt be hard to find a plain brown v-neck sweater...)

I dont want any patterns or logos or anything else unsightly to ruin the pristineness of a natural plain brown v-neck sweater. And I dont want any zombie sweaters, I dont want to become a sweater myself, or anything else.

Is Brooks Brothers somehow not fitting the bill?

Response by poster: Hmm, everything there seemed good except that that website seems expensive and dryclean only type stuff... but thanks!

J. Crew, Lands End, L.L. Bean, or Gap?

Oh, if it has to be machine washable (why didn't you say so earlier?), go for cotton. At least one of the sweaters I linked is cotton.

If you want cheap, plain and good quality, try military surplus. Sportsmans Guide has some, I'm not sure about candian mil. surplus though.

L.L. Bean, Gap and Amazon have plain brown v-necks. I know L.L. Bean ships to Canada. I don't know about the others. If you have your heart set on a sweater from a retailer who doesn't ship to Canada and you don't know anyone in the US who will re-ship it to you, you can ship it to me and I'll ship it to you (I re-ship clothing from US retailers for lots of people in Asia, Canada and Europe).

Something like this? Found at my favourite no-nonsense clothing outlet: Marks Work Warehouse.
