EntomologyFilter: What is this?

Can you help me identify this larva? Pictures inside.
Was gone for a week. When I got back, this little fella and his sibling were on the bathroom counter near the sink, pump soap, and hand towel:

picture 1 (with light, dime for size)
picture 2 (without light)
Only other thing nearby is a plant. Googling led me to this, from which my best guess is Carpet Beetle. What do you think?

Thinking back, I remember vacuuming, but it's possible my wife sprayed something on them when I was at work.
