Switching Industries: Education Edition

Am currently in Corporate America but a possibility of a job switch to Enrollment Management for a Catholic high school - can you provide some insight to professionally moving into the Education space?

Just looking for some insight into what I should expect in switching into this field. What should I be on the look out for? What can I do the prepare?

In my experience parochial education has some significant differences from secular. I would want to be clear on how church politics influence the school. You'll be dealing with a bunch of different constituencies on internal politics - school administrators and religious administrators and parishioners. (Plus, parents and students.)

If you're looking at a particular school I'd want a ton of detail about how functionally those groups work together.
